Frequently Asked Questions
I preserve flowers from all kinds of meaningful moments — weddings, funerals or memorials, anniversaries, baby blessings, birthdays, and more. If it’s special to you, I’d be honored to help preserve it.
Once I receive your bouquet, I carefully disassemble it so each flower can be pressed individually. After pressing and drying, we design a custom piece together that turns your flowers into lasting art.
Some flowers naturally press better than others. Blooms with thinner petals and less moisture — like roses, ranunculus, cosmos, delphinium, and spray roses — tend to press beautifully. Flowers with very thick petals or high moisture content, such as succulents, orchids, and some tropical blooms, can be more unpredictable.
That said, every bouquet is different. I assess each flower individually and use different pressing methods according to the type of flowers. We work with the blooms that press best, adjusting the design as needed to create a balanced, beautiful final piece. When certain flowers don’t press well, I may use alternative blooms from your bouquet or discuss options like color correction or design adjustments.
Yes! If you have dried flowers and aren’t sure what to do with them, I can design and frame them into a shadow box piece. Please note that I do not dry flowers for shadow box frames — this option is for flowers that have already been dried. Pressing services are separate.
The full process typically takes 2-3 months, though timelines on receiving your final piece can vary depending on the current design queue. In some cases, it may take up to 3–5 months to receive your frame. This is all to ensure each piece receives the care and attention it deserves. Flowers need 6–8 weeks to properly press, and once they’re ready, I’ll create a custom design for your approval before framing.
As soon as you have your wedding date! I take on a limited number of bouquets each month to give every piece the attention it deserves. Spring-Fall is our wedding season and busy, so it's best to plan ahead of time.
Yes. If your wedding or event is more than one month away, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due one month before your date. For bookings within one month, last-minute orders, or commission pieces, full payment is required at the time of booking and booking is subject to availability.
Not always. How flowers press depends on the type of bloom and the condition they arrive in. Flowers that are sun-damaged, bruised, or heavily handled may press differently than fresher flowers. To help ensure the best results, I typically send care instructions for your bouquet on your wedding day and after. When needed, I also offer color correction as an add-on service, which you can learn more about in the color correction section.
White flowers often press to a soft ivory, yellow, or slightly warm tone and may continue to fade gently over time. I love working with white bouquets and believe in setting expectations early so there are no surprises.
Yes, always. You’ll receive a digital mockup before anything is permanently adhered or framed, and nothing moves forward without your approval.
If you’re local to Utah, you can drop-off or Uber package delivery your bouquet to our home studio. If you're not local, you will ship your bouquet to us. I’ll guide you through whichever option you choose.
If you’re not local to Utah, we offer shipping services to deliver your frame to you. Local clients usually choose in-person pickup, but if you’re in Utah and a bit farther from my studio, we can arrange shipping for an additional fee or use Uber package delivery — whichever works best for you.
